Lots of fog this morning on the way to work. Saw a couple cars parked on the side of the road trying to wait it out. Not fun driving in but what do you do.

Safety First

OSHA requires safety data sheets turned in to them every so often. Just going through reviewing and inspecting all the different hazards and labels on all are equipment. If something is labeled wrong or considered a hazard, we must fix it right away so we don’t get fined.

Enjoying this 60 degree weather we are having. Worked 9 hours today and going to take advantage of the cool temp. and go out for a bike ride.

  Getting legit, sign/logo went up today. Starting to put the final touches on the exterior of the building.

Taking Shape

Our 10,000 square foot warehouse is starting to take shape. Got beams, rafters, girts, and purlins all put up today. Was a busy week for the crew considering it was only a 4 day work week.

We do them the old fashion way here. I always got to make sure I got my time cards all filled out in turned in on time to my boss. Except I got a million other things on my mind and always forget. But I make it work.

This is a laser that we used to check how level the ground is. It’s very accurate and can get within 1/16 of an inch if needed.

Went to one of the big commercial projects we are currently working on. Rode some scissor lifts and got some different views of the steel framing that is currently going up.

10,000 square Feet

Checking up on the concrete crew this morning, 10,000 square feet of warehouse space is being poured full of concrete. Had to bring in the big pump truck to get the concrete where it needed to be. Quite the experience and set up.

Steel has finally showed up. Now time for the steel crew to come in and start framing.
