Week 1- This week I was mainly focused on learning the basics of residential real estate. My manager and I went to this property which the owner was looking to get a quote on their property since they were trying to fix it up and sell it. As well as got to know the team a bit better and learned what everyone’s jobs where and how if I needed help I could always ask.
Week 2- During this week I worked with our marketing team to work on getting fliers designed to send out to specific neighborhoods in Minneapolis. As well as I called a few different companies looking to get a quote on different billboards around the area that our office is located, to better get our name out there to try and pull in potential buyers.
Week 3- This week during one of our marketing and outreach meetings I mentioned if we had any social media accounts up to show off some of our properties. I was told there was no social media accounts, so I was tasked with researching local real estate social media accounts and see what good their doing and the bad so we can get a good idea what to post. As well as understanding what our first post would be about and how it would promote the company.
