Week 6 at my internship with Roers Companies was a lot of fun! I went back to Rowe, the property that I went to in week 4, which was still under construction! As we near the point of getting the final Certificate of Occupancy, it was cool to see where the property has come in just a matter of 2 weeks. I attached the video that I made for the property to use on their social media pages. I was also able to participate in a 100% unit inspection of a property in Chanhassen. I was able to go around inspecting units for any major flaws such as cracks, leaks, and gaps. I was paired with both the Regional Maintenance Manager and the Regional Director of Maintenance, which was a great opportunity to build connections, ask questions, and learn more about the Maintenance side of Property Management.
