Today we took a quick visit to Earthquake Park in Anchorage. Earthquake park is a commemorative spot to remember an entire neighborhood that slid into the ocean when this earthquake happened. It was a 9.2 on the Richter scale and lasted a total of 4 minutes. This small park is just a quick spot on Alaska’s costal trail, but it holds a lot of history and information about the many effects the earthquake had on this area. It was both interesting and informative!
