Yesterday we participated in our Weidner Cares Day here in Alaska. Our project was to help the William Clark Chamberlin Equestrian Center. We painted coral fences, fixed their out buildings, did a ton of brush cutting and landscaping, and painted and fixed a bunch of other buildings on their property. It was an exhausting day, but it was very rewarding. This center offers a lot of different types of services, but my favorite is their therapeutic services for veterans and disabled people. Plus, they have horses and who doesn’t love seeing those spectacular creatures! It was a wonderful day.
