This week we did an appraisal on a farm, which was quite the switch up from others.  There were lots of buildings to measure, and the farm house was very cute!

One of our software systems was down this week, and we were caught up on appraisals, so I organized all the file cabinets in the office.  It was nice for the office to be cleaned up!

While doing appraisals, the measurements are very important in the process.  My boss has been teaching me how to measure houses.  Although it’s not easy, it has been a great time learning this part of the job!

After the 4th of July week, we had lots of catching up to do in the office.  I was running lots of errands, and looking at properties.  After this week, we are caught up and ready to take on Monday.

This week I got to experience inspecting houses! It was great learning what makes each house unique, I look forward to tagging along on more of these trips.

I finally feel like I’m settling into my role in this company.  All of the new things I’ve learned are becoming much easier to do on my own, and I feel way more comfortable doing my job.  It’s a blast learning the real world work that I will be doing […]

My first week of working at Caswell Appraisal went great.  Although it was overwhelming learning so much new information, I found my boss to be incredibly patient, and willing to teach me.  Here’s to a great summer of learning!
