During my first week at General Property Management in Eau Claire, I had the opportunity to meet everyone in the office and familiarize myself with the team. My initial tasks included completing training videos and assisting with small projects, particularly in preparing for turnover inspections as tenants returned their keys.
In addition to these duties, I shadowed one of the property managers during visits to two houses that were still available for rent. By the end of the week, I was pleased to see both properties successfully leased. This experience allowed me to develop various skills, including effective communication and experience of operating in the software system, Rent Vine.
I am happy to share that, at the conclusion of my first week, I have successfully facilitated two house showings, resulting in leases for both properties.
