For my first week at my internship with Weidner Apartment Homes, I mainly completed training and learned the basics of everyday operations. The location that I am at is Rancho Belago in Moreno Valley, California. Attached is a picture of my office and the main office. It is very exciting that I have my own office! There are only two other people who work at the property full time alongside me and one other person who comes in once or twice a week. The community director and leasing agent are very grateful to have me here! During my first week, they had me working with the software and they had me reply to prospective resident inquiries and communicate with them. I also went along with the leasing agent when he showed units to prospective tenants so that I will soon be able to conduct showings myself. The community director taught me a lot about the property and what I will be doing in the coming weeks. I am very excited for what is ahead!
