For the second week of my internship, I started working with the leasing team. During this week I was trained on the Entrata software that we use for pretty much everything. We use Entrata for current residents as well as creating a profile for prospective residents. I also was trained on answering the phone, which had a lot more to it than I thought.
Over the course of the week, I was able to shadow everyone on the leasing team as they conducted property and unit tours. This was really helpful because it showed me what key features they highlight and how to interact with the prospective residents to learn more about their needs and how we can meet or exceed them.
The photos I have attached to this post are pictures of the model unit that we show on the tours. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit and is one of our most popular floorplans we have on the property.
