My name is Tayla Spiegel and I am from Marion, Wisconsin. I will be a senior at the University of Wisconsin Stout in the Real Estate Property Management and Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management programs and have a minor in Architecture. I am spending my summer in Seattle, Washington with Weidner Apartment Homes.
I am working at the Overlook at Magnolia property. Here my responsibility’s include daily follow-up with residents and leads, leasing activities from giving a tour to writing up a lease, and anything in between. Some days I am sprucing up new homes and others I am calling venders to come to the property. I am learning a lot about the industry and the property management strategies of Weidner. Working with coworkers and residents (and their dogs) has been an amazing experience so far and I am excited to see where the summer takes me!
