When we list a new property in our MLS, one of the first things that needs to happen is obtaining pictures and measurements of the interior and exterior partitions of the property. Pictured is an ultrasonic measuring device that allows me to measure interior square footage, and the other picture shows our MLS’s requirements for taking measurements. Pictures and measurements are often done at the same time, and typically require the house to be in broom-swept condition unless the sale is an As-Is transaction.
