There have been a lot of firsts this second week in Colorado Springs where I’m interning for Weidner Real Estate Apartment Homes. I’ve been able to assist with the office’s everyday activities thanks to the leadership of an amazing team. Among these responsibilities is answering the office queue, which entails contacting/following up with present or future residents. I’ve been able to help with filing additional move-in paperwork and creating our “Welcome Home” letter + packet for new residents. Additionally, I’ve gotten the opportunity to help with inspection reports and learn how to prepare an apartment for move-in. Lastly, I’m happy to report that I completed my first solo property tour with success! I’m excited for all of the opportunities that lie ahead!
