This week we were out in the field doing in-person reassessments. In short the process is a week prior to visiting the property we call and send a postcard letting the owner know we are coming by for reassessment, they also have the option to schedule at an exact time. We then survey the entire property checking for changes made sense the last reasement period (they occur every 5 years) and adjust the evaluation accordingly to the changes. We will also adjust for any changes in condition and measure if anything was added, like a patio or a basement.
