Today my Community Director and I went down to the Ector County Courthouse and filed eviction for one of our tenants. 2 months ago we gave her a paper saying she cannot renew her lease and she must leave on her lease end date. When they day came, she hasnt moved a single thing in her apartment. She eventually called our CD, and said she wasnt leaving and that we never gave her the proper paperwork, even though she came down to the office to ask what the paper was about. We went to the court, filed the eviction, paid the $169, and got out court date. Unfortunelty i wont be here when the court case comes up, but im sure it will end in our favor.
