My internship as a Guest Attendant at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa has officially concluded. However, I can say with absolute certainty, that I am leaving as a more well rounded, and driven, individual. Not only have I met all the goals I set out for myself at the beginning of my internship, but I succeeded some as well. The hardest part of my internship wasn’t dealing with complex situations, or challenging myself with my first ever full time career, but leaving all the friends I made along the way. It’s crazy to think that the possibility of me seeing any of the J1 students I worked with at the Grand Geneva is slim to none. However, they, as well as the things that they taught me, will stick with me forever. Funnily enough, the final day of my internship was the day before my birthday! It was so nice of the team to get me a cupcake for my departure, and just another reason why I’ll miss them so much!
