The sixth week of my internship at the Grand Geneva proved to be more of the same. I set my focused on developing my six learning goals for my internship experience. These primarily include making connections, developing my interpersonal communication skills, as well as my team leadership and time management skills. Since my job requires me to play host to upwards of 100 people at times, I can safely say that I have been getting my fair share of experience in developing my time management and communication skills. One of my favorite parts of working in an appetizer lounge is that I get to try all of the food before our guests come in everyday! Some of my favorite snacks of ours include our bacon wrapped scallops, chicken potstickers, and bruschetta! I’m really looking forward to coming back to school and sharing all of my experiences with my peers!
