Last week, I had the pleasure of walking the International Plaza building in Bloomington. The purpose of these rounds is to meet with the property manager and discuss the progress of our cleaning staff. The building is around 230,000 Sq/Ft and it took about an hour walk the areas that the property manager wanted to discuss. The areas we discussed dealt with window cleaning in a couple of the offices and some carpet cleaning spots throughout the building. Since this is an office building, the cleaning is less detailed compared to a medical center but I would have thought the opposite after the meeting was over. The property manager was very picky about some of the smallest details that I have experienced. The meeting was almost turning a little hostile towards the end. It was a good experience but I hope we can meet the managers needs to settle them down just a little.
