Residents just think they can move out whenever they want. So today we had a lady come into the office freaking out at us because she is moving out of her apartment 2 weeks before her lease is up and doesn’t think she needs to pay rent after she moves out. She has signed the lease saying that she will be paying rent until the 14th of August yet thinks that since she handed in her keys early she is doesn’t have to pay the last two weeks. To top it off she was cursing us out in front of her 4 year old daughter and said we were harassing her last month asking if she was going to release or not. In all reality she doesn’t realize that we were trying to help her out because if we didn’t ask her if she was going to release or not she would have been responsible for another month’s rent.
