One very important thing to keep track of is when leases expire. This is important because you need to watch when leases expire because you don’t want to have a lot of vacancies at one time which makes a business lose money. Also, more people are willing to move during the summer so its higher traffic and easier to rent apartments. This means you would want to have more leases expire in the summer than during the winter months because it is easier to fill vacancies. Because of lease expirations being filled up at my property we are only offering 9 to 12 month lease terms.
