Today I had to deny one girl because of bad credit and 1 person had to be put back to refer on both credit and criminal background. It was the first time I had a straight deny, so it was a little stressful and a big bummer to call these people and let them know that they cannot lease from us. I was really stressed out to do it, and I really had to talk and ask the other consultants what to say and how I should say it in the nicest way possible. After I did it, I felt a little relieved because it wasn’t as bad as I thought. But it made me understand how important it is to put everything in TransUnion correctly because if you didn’t it could be the reason why you cant lease to someone.
