I got to follow around maintenance for a day. I learned a lot. Our maintenance tech name is Colby and our maintenance supervisor’s name is Nick. I helped them in the morning fix the pool door lock. Then Nick went to the other property he supervisors and I assisted Colby. I helped him replace a faucet, replace a washer/dryer unit, and paint an apartment. I also walked the grounds and picked up trash. I realized that the maintenance work really never ends because when there are not work orders, there are turns. If the turns are done there is always maintenance projects. Maintenance is not an easy task and it makes you appreciate them way more when you step in their shoes.
