Yesterday was the 1st of the month and to welcome in our new residents we put a move-in package in all of the new move in’s apartments. We did this at our other property as well but at this one we directly put the packages in the apartments ourselves. I think this is a great idea because it’s a very subtle way to let the new residents know that you appreciate them staying with you. The package just has some paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and some snacks. It’s nothing too special but I think it’s the thought that makes this gift important. Anyone can just rent out a place but by giving them this little gift is the cherry on top to the beginning to a great relationship between the resident and the management staff.
