Last Wednesday (7/20) I met with the center director for North Metro Surgery Center. They specialize in orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, podiatric, gastrointestinal, spine, ear, nose and throat, and eye procedures and services. They are a small portion of the 60,000 square foot building but require a ton of attention due to the nature of their work. After discussing topics like chemicals, disposables, and certain areas, we dressed up in full scrubs and began to walk the space. It was amazing how much work needed to put in on a daily basis for just a fraction of the 60,000 Sq/Ft building. The whole process took about 2.5 hours and resulted in a task list nearly 60 items long that our cleaners need to address on a nightly basis.
