Just in time to dodge the heat, I have been working office duty throughout this week. I answer incoming calls. I respond to customer emails. I have been completing daily routes for the crews. I print invoices and process payments in QuickBooks. Payments come in through the mail, customers call in with credit card payments, and they submit payments to our online portal. All of these different avenues have to be checked daily to record the payment in their QuickBooks account and transfer the money to the appropriate bank account. The office seems to be the hub of the business. Job requests, estimate requests, service calls, and orders come in and I have to sort each request to the correct crew leader to address and follow up with job scheduling or bid information. “Thank you for contacting Green Touch Lawn. This is Brandon. How can I help you?”
