Since I have worked here, we haven’t had a working pool. The week before I started, some kids who didn’t live at the apartment complex broke the drain for the pool. It took two weeks for us to get the part for the pool, and then we had to replace the broken piece, check the pools chemical levels and then clean and vacuum the pool. In that three weeks, we had a lot of people calling in and complaining about the pool being down, especially being in Texas, a pool is pretty much a must. The best thing we can tell tenants, is that we are trying our best to get the pool running again, and stress to them how important it is to respect the pool rules, wear the proper attire, and be cautious of your surroundings so we don’t have a repeat of what had happened.
