At the property I am interning at, there are 285 apartments. There are 12 buildings, with 24 apartments in each building, and 4 sets of 3 flights of stairs for each building as well. Each time we put up notices, we have to go to each apartment and climb all of the stairs. It’s exhausting. BUT it’s super important to make sure that if we need to give notices to the entire community. We recently needed to check dates on every fire extinguisher in each apartment, so 285+ extinguishers. It was crucial that we gave each resident a notice of entry because we NEED to give them 48 hours notice before we enter their apartment. It was a lot of work, but it’s a big part of the job.
