The last few weeks have become more and more busy, as we approach August. August is the busiest time of the year for 7west. We have more turnovers, more prospects, and more unpredictable situations, as students and young professionals flood Minneapolis and hunker down for the year.
We have encountered many situations of homeless people around our property. A few have plugged their phones into our exterior outlets. One, we had to call the cops on, for he was being disruptive and scaring residents. Lastly, one was able to wander into our trash room take a look around.
I have learned so much from these situations. I have learned how to control situations, keep calm, address residents, and solve problems. I would highly encourage other interns to prepare for similar situations!
