The other day, we got a call to the office at the end of the day. A resident had a light bulb out in a closet. I told her that I would put in a work order, and that a maintenance member would be out the next day. She then pleaded with me to get someone out there right away, because they couldn’t see anything in the closet! I told her that out maintenance crew was already done for the day, and would only be out to an apartment if there was an emergency. But, apparently a light bulb is! Sometimes you have to be careful what you say, even when requests are a bit ridiculous.
