Today was a very informative day. They gave me a complete run down of everything I will need to accomplish for the internship and they have me set up on all of the websites that I will need. The main ones that they use, are Entrata, Yardi, and of course Outlook Email. Entrata and Yardi are both designed to help with leads and future prospects to help keep things organized. Yardi is also our main connection to all of our current residents and we can use it for service requests, keeping all of their lease information, and keeping track of their bills. Basically, everything we will ever need to know. It has been a ton of information, but I also could shadow a few property tours and got the chance to watch the day to day operations. Oh, I also got to answer phones today and found out that even if I don’t have the information, there are a million ways to get it!
