This past week I joined some of the other interns here at CUNA Mutual and went to Centro Hispano here in Madison to help the organization clean and organize their space. Something that I really like about CUNA Mutual is that they really are heavily involved within the Madison community and that allows us to have a diverse experience as well as help in communities that really need it. While we were at Centro I helped with organizing a small donation area as well as out in the garden space. This was not ideal as last Friday was when the heat wave was first hitting. Besides the heat though it was a really great experience and I was happy to get away from my desk for awhile. Only 3 more weeks left!
