Recently I stumbled upon an exciting opportunity, allowing me to take some time off from working as a Guest Attendant at the Grand Geneva Resort, and to transfer into the Operations division for a weekend. I have been working in the PBX branch, which can only be described as an “Everything Position”. Working in PBX we take care of room checkouts, billing, taking and transferring phone calls, managing reservations, etc. Working in this position has been extremely beneficial for my interpersonal skills, as I no longer feel a sense of anxiety when talking on the phone with strangers. I had a lot of fun working in operations and it served as a great hospitality learning experience! I am excited for what other opportunities await me during my internship here at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa!
